We recently split a hind quarter of beef with my sis-in-law. I Thought that it was an incredible deal. Whole lotta beef. Led Zeppelin song? 🙂 Anyway… my sis-in-law has made a beef stew and cooked a steak. We will get into ours this week, making a shepherd’s pie. The verdict… my sis-in-law, Jane, who’s eaten at a few good restaurants, says that this is the best beef that she’s ever eaten. That’s quite an endorsement, coming from someone who’s eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world. Maple Lane Farms…Charleston, ME…thank you again so very much.
